Our mission is to protect the quality of life in our community by delivering the highest level of services in the most effective, efficient, safest, and professional manner possible, with the resources available to us. The department delivers fire, rescue and emergency medical services from four fire stations strategically located throughout the city.

Our greatest resources, by far, are our dedicated Firefighters and Paramedics. They are committed to fulfilling the needs of our residents and visitors alike, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our service delivery model focus, is on protecting life and property through a variety of prevention, education, preparation, response, and evaluation activities.

What We Do

Riviera Beach Fire Rescue proudly serves the City of Riviera Beach, as well as providing EMS services to the Town of Palm Beach Shores.  Riviera Beach Fire Rescue has four stations that are located throughout the City.  Each Station houses a fire suppression unit and a medic transport unit.  Every day there is a minimum of 19 fire rescue personnel manning these four stations to ensure emergency response capabilities for 24 hours.  When not responding to emergency calls, crews are busy fulfilling  variations of training, completing station duties, ensuring fire apparatus vehicles and equipment are in efficient working condition, while conducting quick access surveys and zone familiarizations.

The City of Riviera Beach is comprised of 8.3 square miles with a population of 30,000.  Riviera Beach Fire Rescue responds to approximately 10,000 calls per year.  The calls consist of structure fires, fire alarms, medical emergencies, motor vehicle accidents and public assists.  These calls are the reason that Riviera Beach Fire Rescue constantly trains to keep their skills in compliance with the latest technology and innovations in the fire service.
