Project Update: Work Expected to Resume September 28, 2026
Due to the heavy rain events we have been experiencing, the contractor had to temporarily stop work on the project. Work is expected to resume Monday, September 28, 2026.
The project map below provides the anticipated work schedule for the Long Pine Estates area.
Residents can use the color-coded phases to understand when work is expected to take place near their property.
While this work is being performed, please limit activities that use large volumes of water, such as doing laundry, dishwashing, flushing toilets, and bathing. During the sewer lining process, your service connection will be temporarily closed off for a few hours. Every service lateral will be fully opened and back in service by the end of each workday.
If you detect a chemical odor during liner installation, you may be smelling styrene, a component of the resin used to saturate the sewer liner. The odor should dissipate once installation is complete.
Before work begins, pouring a gallon of water into sinks, floor drains, and other drainage openings—especially those that are seldom used—should help prevent odor from entering your home or building. If you detect an odor, open windows or turn on a fan to help ventilate the space.
