      PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

      PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD MEETING

      CITY OF RIVIERA BEACH, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA

       

      The Planning and Zoning Board (sitting as the Local Planning Agency) of the City of Riviera Beach, Palm Beach County, Florida, will conduct a Public Hearing on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at 6:30 PM, or soon thereafter, and from time to time thereafter as necessary, at the Riviera Beach Marina Event Center located at 190 E 13th Street, Riviera Beach, FL 33404, to consider the following Ordinance:

      Ordinance Number 4327

      An ordinance of the City Council of the City of Riviera Beach, Palm Beach County, Florida, adopting amendments to the Comprehensive Plan of the City of Riviera Beach, Florida, to implement necessary updates and revisions to the goals, objectives, and policies of the City’s Comprehensive Plan, including an updated Map Series; providing for conflicts, severability, transmittal, and an effective date.


      Interested parties may appear at the meeting and be heard with respect to the proposed Ordinance.


      Copies of the proposed Ordinance and related background materials are available for public inspection at the Development Services Department at 600 W. Blue Heron Blvd., Riviera Beach, FL, between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, except holidays.

      PLEASE TAKE NOTICE AND BE ADVISED, that if any interested person desires to appeal any decision made by the Planning and Zoning Board with respect to any matter considered at the meetings, such interested person, at their own expense, will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based (F.S. 286.0105).


      In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, persons needing special accommodations to participate in the proceedings should contact the Clerk’s Office at 561-845-4090 no later than 48 hours prior to the proceedings.
