CITY COUNCIL MEETING

CITY OF RIVIERABEACH, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA

The City Council of the City of Riviera Beach, Palm Beach County, Florida will conduct a Public Hearing on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at 6:00 PM, or soon thereafter, and from time to time thereafter as necessary, at the Riviera Beach Event Center located at 190 E 13th Street, Riviera Beach, FL 33404, to consider the below Ordinance:

Ordinance Number 4322: An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Riviera Beach, Florida, amending Chapter 11 of the City’s Code of Ordinances entitled, “Nuisances,” Article IV, “Noise,” by repealing Article IV in its entirety and adopting a new Article IV, entitled “Sound,” to revise and consolidate the City’s sound and noise regulations, including standards for outdoor sound amplification devices, certified outdoor venues, enclosed places of public entertainment, and exterior sound levels by zoning district; providing for definitions; providing for outdoor venue approval criteria; providing for enforcement; providing for codification; providing for END OF CONSENT AGENDA severability; providing for conflicts; and providing for an effective date.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE AND BE ADVISED, that if any interested person desires to appeal any decision made by the Council with respect to any matter considered at the meetings, such interested person, at their own expense, will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based (F.S. 286.015).

Interested parties may appear and be heard with respect to the proposed Ordinance(s). In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, persons needing special accommodations to participate in the proceedings should contact the Clerk’s Office at 561-845-4090 no later than 48 hours prior to the proceedings. Ordinance Number 4323: An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Riviera Beach, Florida, amending Chapter 12 of the City’s Code of Ordinances, entitled “Offenses and Miscellaneous Provisions,” by amending Section 12-21, entitled “Landing aircraft, parachuting or skydiving in city limits,” to provide that an unmanned aircraft system operated in accordance with applicable federal and state law is not considered an aircraft for purposes of this section; providing for codification; providing for severability; providing for conflicts; and providing for an effective date.
