Children's Librarian
Sharmain Arnold
Ms. Arnold represents the heart and soul of the Riviera Beach Public Library! Her presence represents an institution in itself for the community. With a career spanning close to thirty years, Ms. Arnold's connections and relationships with families and community entities run very deep. Every week, one will notice that our Children's Department is a prime destination for the youngest members of our community, with its extensive library collection, games, computers, and activities. In addition to Ms. Arnold's work with children, she has also been a key player in providing critical input as it relates to what our new library will need in conjunction with "Reimagine Riviera Beach." Also, prior to the demolition of our previous library, Ms. Arnold was the one who provided reflections and perspectives for all to view regarding the previous location on Channel 5 News. Ms. Arnold's expertise and experience will be the catalyst which will continue to inspire the Riviera Beach Public Library to greatness. Her recognition as one of the City of Riviera Beach's Employee of the Year award recipients certainly validates this prediction.
