City of Riviera Beach Partners with CareerSource Palm Beach County to Help Job Seekers at the Riviera Beach Public Library
Riviera Beach, Fla. (Aug. 24, 2021) – On Monday, Aug. 23, 2021, the Riviera Beach Public Library launched a partnership with CareerSource Palm Beach County to provide job seekers access to free resources and services for future careers and employment. A CareerSource representative will be stationed at the library each Monday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. to assist with employment, re-employment, resume assistance, filing for unemployment and career path assistance.
The representative is fluent in English, Spanish and Haitian Creole.
“I am very excited about the partnership between CareerSource Palm Beach County and the City of Riviera Beach Public Library. This initiative supports our residents who are seeking opportunities to improve their quality of life by providing crucial reemployment/employment services. We are proactively taking steps to remove barriers preventing our residents from securing stable long-term employment.” said Shirley Lanier, Riviera Beach City Council Chairwoman.
“Partnering with CareerSource is a perfect fit to help us strengthen communities, advanced knowledge, and enhance personal growth.” said Riviera Beach Library Director, Rodney Freeman.
