RIVIERA BEACH POLICE HUNT DOWN, ARREST THREE KILLERS
RIVIERA BEACH, FL. (Aug. 1, 2022) – Three individuals have been apprehended and
charged with murder for the June fatal shooting of a male in Indian Trace.
Luke D. Lewis, 21, Jacquez Brown, 18, and a juvenile were arrested on Friday, July 29,
for the murder of a man who died in the parking lot of the complex shortly after 11:30
p.m. on June 30.
Lewis has been charged with one Count of Felony Murder; Brown has been charged
with one Count of First-Degree Murder and one Count of Attempted Robbery with a
Firearm; the juvenile has been charged with one Count of First-Degree Murder and one
Count of Attempted Robbery with a Firearm. Lewis and Brown were transported to the
Palm Beach County Jail. The juvenile offender was turned over to the Juvenile
Assessment Center.
“Murder and other violent crimes in the City of Riviera Beach will not be tolerated and
perpetrators will face the full wrath of the law,” Police Chief Joshua Lewis said. “If you
commit a selfish act like this, we will hunt you down with every resource available to us.”

K-9 Unit, Detectives with the Strategic Investigations Division, as well as the Crime
Scene Unit for their assistance and hard work during this investigation.
