10/3/2022 - Councilwoman Shirley Lanier Holding Book Dedication

RIVIERA BEACH, FL. (Oct. 3, 2022) – Books will bring a brighter future to the children of Azure Estates. That’s why Councilwoman Shirley Lanier teamed up with several partners to stock the shelves of the community and hold a dedication there this week. 

Lanier, who has partnered with the Azure Estates community managed by Millenia Housing, the Palm Beach Classroom Teachers Association, Florida Educators Association and American Federation of Teachers, will host a Book Dedication Ceremony on Thursday, Oct. 6 at 7 p.m. at Azure Estates, 1555 Martin Luther King Blvd. 
A small team of volunteers including educators helped bring Lanier’s vision to fruition by organizing donated books similar to the style of the reading classroom libraries in Palm Beach County Schools, making a direct connection from classroom to community.   RIVIERA BEACH, FL. Both Urban Youth Impact and the Palm Beach County Classroom Teachers Association have supplied books for the project.
