CRASH INVESTIGATION UNDERWAY AFTER FATAL HIT-AND-RUN IN RIVIERA BEACH
RIVIERA BEACH, FL. (Nov. 26, 2022) – The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal three-vehicle crash that occurred in Riviera Beach on Nov. 25.
A Nissan Altima traveling Northbound on Ave. S approaching the intersection on West Blue Heron Boulevard ran a red light at approximately 6:10 p.m., striking a motorcycle. The motorcycle subsequently hit a Hyundai Elantra. The driver of the motorcycle and a passenger were transported to a local hospital for treatment. The motorcycle driver was pronounced dead at the hospital. The passenger was treated for serious injuries.
The driver of the Nissan Altima fled the scene of the crash and is still at large.
