5/20/2023 - Police Makes Two Arrest for March 11th Shooting

RIVIERA BEACH POLICE MAKES TWO ARRESTS FOR MARCH 11TH SHOOTING

                                    
RIVIERA BEACH, FL. (Friday, May 19, 2023) – The Riviera Beach Police Criminal
Investigations Division responded to a shooting incident that occurred on Saturday, March 11, 2023 around 1:17 p.m. on the 1400 block of West 36th Street. Units arrived and located a female victim inside of her car, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

On Friday, May 19, 2023, Christopher Laray Lane Jr. (B/M 11/25/1999) and Jazzmain
Bush (B/F 12/18/1999) were taken into custody in connection with the shooting. Both
individuals are charged with the following:

• (1) Count Attempted Second-Degree Murder with a Firearm F.S.S. 782.04(2)
• (1) Count Robbery with a Firearm F.S.S. 812.13(1) and (2)(A)
• (1) Count Shooting into an Occupied Vehicle F.S.S. 790.19

Both suspects were turned over to the Palm Beach County Jail, where they’re being held on no bond.
