RIVIERA BEACH COMMUNITY TO SHARE VISION FOR FUTURE GROWTH AT RIVIERA 2040 OPEN HOUSE

RIVIERA BEACH, FL. (August 10, 2023) – The City of Riviera Beach is excited to announce an upcoming interactive open house as part of Riviera 2040, a groundbreaking community-oriented planning effort. This 18-month initiative aims to fully update the City’s Comprehensive Plan, ensuring that Riviera Beach continues to flourish in the years to come.
We are thrilled to invite you to our second citywide meeting on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will take place at the Wells Recreation Center, located at 2409 Avenue H West. This gathering is a golden opportunity for individuals to contribute their ideas and concerns about housing, transportation, land use, infrastructure, and more. Since its kick-off in January 2023, Riviera 2040 has been all about community involvement. To make the planning process accessible to everyone, the City staff, together with their dedicated consultants, launched a user-friendly website at Riviera2040.org. They have also released an online survey and actively engaged with the community at various events, including the Soul Seafood Festival 2023 and the Fire Station 88 Grand Opening.
"The voice of Riviera Beach residents and businesses is of utmost importance to us," said Clarence Sirmons, the Development Services Director. "Through various channels of communication, we are diligently seeking input from the community. Your participation is crucial to shape the future policies that will guide Riviera Beach into the next ten to twenty years."
