Vacancy Announcement for 6 Seats

The City of Riviera Beach, the Best Waterfront City in Which to Live, Work and Play… is pleased to announce current acceptance of applications for four full memberships seats and two alternate appointments on the Library Advisory Board. Those serving as a member will have full voting rights as outlined within the Riviera Beach Code of Ordinances (Code 1957, § 2-12.3(a); Sec 2-77). Functionality of the board is to provide recommendations in support of the Riviera Beach Public Library.

In accordance with the Library Advisory Board bylaws the following is required:

·       Must be a legal resident of the City of Riviera Beach.

·       Ability to serve a one-year term.

·       Registered Voter

·       Ability to attend meetings Preferred requirements:

·       Ability to read, write and understand English fluently

·       Interest in Library Services
