Join Us for “Feed the Need”: A Community Outreach Cookout for the Unsheltered

Riviera Beach, FL. (September 12, 2024) – We are excited to announce the upcoming event “Feed the Need,” a community outreach cookout aimed at supporting the unsheltered population of Riviera Beach. This important initiative will take place on Friday, September 27, 2024, at the Wells Recreation Center located at 2409 Avenue H W, Riviera Beach, Florida 33404 from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

“Feed the Need” will bring together outreach organizations from across Palm Beach County to provide vital services and resources to those in need. With the recent changes in Florida law set to take effect on October 1, 2024, this event serves as a crucial opportunity to assist the unsheltered community before new restrictions are implemented. The recently passed HB 1365 prohibits local governments from allowing individuals to engage in public sleeping or camping on public property, making this outreach even more essential.

“We hope this event will create a positive impact on those in need. It is a true blessing to collaborate with various Outreach Agencies as we collectively strive to help others. To make a significant difference in the world, we must engage in actions that leave a lasting mark and foster change in the lives of individuals and the communities we serve.
