 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: 

JOIN US FOR "WALK TOGETHER IN UNITY WITH PURPOSE" AT THE CITY OF RIVIERA BEACH’S 42nd ANNUAL DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. PARADE! 

 

RIVIERA BEACH, FL. (January 8, 2026) – Get ready to celebrate as the City of Riviera Beach 

Hosts its 42nd year Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade, " Walk Together in Unity with Purpose," on Saturday, January 17, 2026. This year's parade promises to be a memorable event filled with joy, unity, and community spirit. 

 

The parade will kick off at 10:00 a.m., with participants lining up starting at 8:00 a.m. The parade 

route has been modified from last year. 

 

2026 Parade Route: 

o Will start at Congress Avenue and MLK Blvd. Parade route ends at MLK Blvd. and 

Avenue O. 

o The Parade Viewing stand, Vendor Row and Family Fun Area will be located at 

Dan Calloway Recreation Complex. 

 

For the best view of the parade, make sure to arrive early and grab a focal spot. The Parade 

viewing stand will be located at Avenue O and MLK Blvd. The entire route will allow viewers to 

witness the vibrant colors, lively performances, and the community spirit that make this parade 

exciting, enjoyable and so special. 

 

Following the parade, join us at the Dan Calloway Park for the post-parade festivities from 1:00 

p.m. to 3:00 p.m. This family-friendly event will be a great opportunity to spend quality time with 

family and friends while celebrating the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. 

 

We are also excited to announce that vendors will be present along Avenue P and MLK Blvd, at 

the side entrance of Dan Calloway Recreation Park. Don't miss the chance to showcase your 

products or services to the parade attendees. 

 

Please note that there will be street closures, detours, and police presence to ensure the safety 

and smooth flow of the parade. For parade and celebration information, contact Special Events
