Update of Teen Struck By Vehicle


At approximately 6:30 AM, January 29, 2020, a 14-year-old teenager was struck by a Ford Explorer in the 3500 block of Congress Avenue at the intersection of Canopy Lane, while walking to the bus stop. It is with deep sorrow that the City announce that he passed away today. No citations have been issued for the driver of the vehicle at this time. If you or someone you know was a witness to this accident and has not spoken to police, please contact the Riviera Beach Police Traffic Unit at 561-845-4125. This matter is still under investigation.
