Today, November 11, is national Veterans Day and the City is hosting an event to celebrate this momentous day. The event will recognize a monument being installed in Bicentennial Park at the Marina Event Center to honor our Veterans, our Gold Star families and our first responders for their sacrifice, service to our nation and service to our community. The event, which begins at 11 a.m., is a joint effort between the City and the Riviera Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (RBCRA)--both of which value our Veterans. The event is free and open to the public and, thanks to the pandemic, social distancing will be followed. Attendees are asked to bring umbrellas to protect against the sun and to help with social distancing.
Time and Place: 11 a.m. at Bicentennial Park, located at the Riviera Beach Marina Village, 190 E. 13th Street.
