COVID-19 VACCINATION UPDATE

Attention: Community Stakeholders

Earlier this week, the City of Riviera Beach was asked by the State of Florida Department of Emergency Management, to provide the names and phone numbers of residents in our community that are interested in obtaining the COVID-19 vaccine. The City quickly organized its Emergency Operation Center and opened a call line to capture our residents. The City also went door-to-door and passed out flyers to over 4,000 residents. The City forwarded the contact information to a state-contracted company to conduct scheduling and callbacks for vaccinations scheduled for this Friday – February 5, 2021.

We are receiving an abundance of communication and would like to inform the community that The City of Riviera Beach is merely providing the venue in which the vaccines will be administered. This is in collaboration with the Florida Department of Emergency Management and Palm Beach County.

If persons have not received calls as of this message, please standby as you will receive calls into the later part of the evening, and potentially as early as tomorrow morning.
