For a more simplified, efficient checkout process, use our Self Checkout Machines located directly at the entrance, near the cafe!

How it works

Select the option you wish to use: Checkout, Account, Renew.


Checkout allows you to scan books to take home.

Account allows you to view your library account, view books currently out and more.

Renew allows you to extend the time you have a book checked out for.

 

 

 

Scanning Library Card

The first step to checking books out, or renewing them is to hold your library card barcode under the scanner until it beeps. Then proceed to the next steps.

 

 

 

Scanning Books

To scan books to check them out, simply place them on the scanning bed in the outline under the screen. The Self-Checkout will let you know when it has scanned the book. You can print your receipt if you wish.

 

 

 

Renewing Books

To renew books simply check the books you wish to renew and click ‘renew’. You can print your receipt if you wish.
