Clean Water

The City understands the significance of proper hygiene procedures as directed by federal and state agencies to reduce the spread of the coronavirus. So we would like to ensure that all water utility customers have uninterrupted access to water to protect themselves and others.

Therefore, effective March 15, 2020, utility disconnects on delinquent accounts have been suspended for 60 days, ending on May 15, 2020. Reconnection fees and late fees will also be waived during this 60-day period.

Customers should note that monthly fees and charges will continue to accrue to utility accounts during this period. The temporary suspension does not eliminate or reduce monthly accruals or previous outstanding balances. Customers will remain responsible for these amounts. Though we encourage customers to keep payments current, we understand that this may not be possible for all customers. Please trust that staff will work with individual customers who have high balances through the creation of extended payment terms.
