What We Do

The Planning & Zoning Division collects, maintains and distributes information related to short and long term land planning and development that affects the City, its citizens and other interested groups. Planning and Zoning assists in the process of land development and building construction within the City through the review of plats, zoning, development codes, and site plans. In addition, the Division provides staff support for commissions and other City Council appointed committees. It is the intent of the Division to provide the City Council and Boards with recommendations for positive changes which enhance and improve the quality of life in the City of Riviera Beach. 

Planner-On-Call

For basic planning and zoning inquiries, the Planner on Call serves as the main contact for answering questions from the public and disseminating information regarding planning projects.
